As far as products, especially on natural hair, you have to try different products and see what works for you, or consult a professional. Don’t know where you live, but in some shops in Atlanta, I hear that they will do a consultation with you. You go into the shop with clean hair, and they will pull out a slew of sample products. They then section the hair and try out the products on the individual sections to see what works best with your hair. It’s something similar to how a doctor would do a skin patch test for allergens, minus any bad reactions to the products. If you’re not in Atlanta, you should see if there is a shop in your area, that specializes in natural hair that might do something similar.
